Dare Kuti Appointed Media Director of Gymnastics Federation of Nigeria

Former Secretary of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Kwara State Chapter, and media practitioner Dare Kuti has been appointed Media Director of the Gymnastics Federation of Nigeria (GFN).

The appointment was contained in a letter dated September 27, 2026, and signed by the GFN President, Prince Kelvin Erhunmwunse.

According to the federation, Kuti’s appointment followed a “thorough assessment” of his records, dedication and contributions to the growth of sports.

The GFN Executive Board unanimously approved his appointment during its meeting held on September 27.

The federation expressed confidence that Kuti would bring his experience and dedication to the role while contributing to the promotion and development of gymnastics in Nigeria.

Kuti, who has several years of experience in sports journalism and media development, will be responsible for leading the federation’s media, publicity and communication activities as it seeks to take Nigerian gymnastics to a higher level.

The federation congratulated Kuti on what it described as a well-deserved appointment and urged him to contribute to the continued growth of the sport.

The appointment adds another responsibility to Kuti’s growing profile in Nigerian sports media.

“Take Gymnastics to the Next Level,” the federation stated in its congratulatory message.
