Valiant FC Appoint Tar Akombo as New Technical Adviser

Valiant FC have appointed Tar Akombo as the club’s new Technical Adviser and Head Coach ahead of the new football season.

The club announced the appointment in a statement welcoming Akombo to the “Brave Army”, expressing confidence in his experience, leadership and technical expertise.

The appointment is part of the club’s broader ambition under CEO Japhet Zubairu to build a competitive and well-structured football project, with emphasis on player development, technical growth and the establishment of a clear footballing identity.

Akombo arrives with a clear mandate to drive the club’s footballing philosophy, develop its players and lead the team to greater heights.

The club believes his experience and technical knowledge will provide the leadership required to translate its sporting ambitions into results on the pitch.

“We are delighted to welcome Tar Akombo to Valiant FC,” the club stated, describing his appointment as an important step in its quest for greater progress.

Akombo will now take charge of the technical affairs of the team as he begins preparations for the challenges ahead.

The appointment also reinforces the club’s commitment to creating an environment where players can develop and potentially progress to higher levels of the game.

Valiant FC, under the leadership of CEO Japhet Zubairu, will be hoping the new technical team can provide the direction needed to move the club into a new phase of growth.

Meet Ilorin-born Soliu Ajia Yakubu,Flying Eagles Goalkeeper for AFCON  An Ilorin-born goalkeeper, Soliu Ajia Yakubu, will wear the Nigerian badge at the upcoming U20 AFCON tournament in Egypt. The former Gidado Football Academy player was part of the squad listed for the AFCON final list by Coach Aliyu Zubairu. Soliu currently ply his trade in Serbian league with FK Novia Pazar.
