Niger Tornadoes Chairman, Dr. Kuso convenes stakeholders meeting 

The Chairman of Niger Tornadoes Football Club, Dr. Abubakar Abdullahi Kuso (Dan Wadatan Nupe), today convened a strategic Football Stakeholders’ Meeting aimed at fostering unity, collaboration and a shared commitment to the development of football in Niger State.

The meeting, held at Rashida Restaurant Conference Hall, along Shiroro Road, Minna, brought together football stakeholders from across the state, including officials of the Niger State Football Association (FA), football administrators, coaches, club representatives, supporters and other key stakeholders.

Addressing participants, Dr. Abubakar Kuso emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in repositioning football in Niger State. He noted that meaningful progress can only be achieved through unity, cooperation and sustained engagement among all stakeholders.

The Chairman reaffirmed the commitment of the Niger Tornadoes Football Club Management to promoting professionalism, grassroots football development, talent discovery and initiatives that will strengthen football across the state.

The stakeholders’ meeting provided an opportunity for participants to make meaningful contributions, deliberate on critical issues affecting football in Niger State and agree on practical steps towards moving the game forward.

Dr. Kuso appreciated all stakeholders for honouring the invitation and for their dedication to the growth and future of football in Niger State.

Meet Ilorin-born Soliu Ajia Yakubu,Flying Eagles Goalkeeper for AFCON  An Ilorin-born goalkeeper, Soliu Ajia Yakubu, will wear the Nigerian badge at the upcoming U20 AFCON tournament in Egypt. The former Gidado Football Academy player was part of the squad listed for the AFCON final list by Coach Aliyu Zubairu. Soliu currently ply his trade in Serbian league with FK Novia Pazar.
