Kwara United Queens depart Ilorin for Aba ahead of NWFL Nationwide



Kwara United Queens have departed Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, for Aba, Abia State, ahead of the 2026 NWFL Nationwide competition.

The Courageous Queens left Ilorin at exactly 7:00 a.m. on Friday as they begin their journey to Aba, where they will compete for promotion to the Nigeria Women’s Football League NWFL.

The team will be aiming to make a strong impression in the competition and secure a place in Nigeria’s second-tier women’s league.

Kwara United Queens are drawn in Group A alongside Solo Wonders Babes and Spunky Blazers.

The team’s departure marks the beginning of their quest for glory and promotion as they look forward to representing Kwara State with pride in Aba.
