Breaking: Niger Football Stakeholders Endorse Ahmed Yusuf Fresh for NFF First Vice President


Football stakeholders in Niger State have thrown their weight behind the aspiration of the Chairman of the Niger State Football Association, Comrade Ahmed Yusuf Fresh, to contest for the position of First Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

The endorsement, which enjoys the support of members of the Niger State Football Association Executive Board, football technocrats, players, stakeholders and other members of the football family in the state, was described as a demonstration of confidence in Fresh’s leadership qualities, experience and capacity to contribute meaningfully to the development of Nigerian football.

The stakeholders said their decision was based on their belief in his abilities, credentials, track record and commitment to the growth of the sport.

According to them, Fresh has demonstrated the leadership qualities required to operate at the national level, adding that his aspiration represents an opportunity to further strengthen football administration and development in Nigeria.

The football family in Niger State pledged their full support for his campaign, stressing that they would stand firmly behind him in the spirit of unity, sportsmanship and collective progress.

They expressed optimism that the aspiration would receive wider support from football stakeholders across the country as the race gathers momentum.

“Together, we shall tell your success story. We wish you the very best in your quest. Together, we shall make it happen,” the stakeholders declared.

The endorsement further underscores the growing support for Fresh as he seeks to occupy the position of First Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation.

Meet Ilorin-born Soliu Ajia Yakubu,Flying Eagles Goalkeeper for AFCON  An Ilorin-born goalkeeper, Soliu Ajia Yakubu, will wear the Nigerian badge at the upcoming U20 AFCON tournament in Egypt.
