Nasarawa United management appreciates Gov. Sule over cash, bus donation

Nasarawa United FC have expressed deepest gratitude to the State Governor, His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, following the donation of a brand new 38-seater coaster bus and Ten Million Naira to the team.

Club's Chairman, Solomon Babanjah, expressed the appreciation on behalf of the Management, Playing and Coaching Staff as well as Supporters.

According to him, he noted that Governor Abdullahi Sule continues to exceed all expectations in all facets of the State.

Solomon who said the Governor's gestures meant a lot to the team as it would help to tackle some of its challenges, prayed God Almighty for more insight for the Governor to be able to carry out his divine mandate effectively .

The Club's Chairman received the bus on behalf of members of the Club from Governor Abdullahi Sule at the premises of the Government House, Lafia.

Recall that Governor Abdullahi Sule, during a reception held in honour of the victorious Nasarawa Amazons FC who clinched this year's Women's President Federation's Cup title after beating Heartland Queens 6-5 on spot kicks at the Late Stephen Keshi International Stadium, Asaba, Delta State, after full-time ending 1-1 apiece, on Saturday, 11th July, 2026.

The feat is the Amazons' third FA Cup triumph, with the other two trophies won in 2005 and 2019.
