El-Kanemi Warriors FC Presents President Federation Cup to the Shehu of Borno for Royal Blessings

The management, technical crew, players, and supporters of El-Kanemi Warriors FC paid a courtesy visit to the palace of His Eminence, the Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Abubakar ibn Umar  Garbai El-Kanemi, in Shehuri, Maiduguri, to present the President Federation Cup for royal blessings.

The El-Kanemi Warriors delegation was led by the club's former Chairman, Alhaji Mala Zanna Kakaje, alongside the Chairman of the Borno State Football Association, Alhaji Babagana Kalli.

Speaking during the visit, the Chairman of El-Kanemi Warriors FC, Alhaji Waziri Isah Mai Qatar, paid homage to His Eminence and expressed appreciation for his support of the club.

"We are here today to present the President Federation Cup, which your team won last Saturday in Asaba. The players displayed courage, determination, and pride, giving an excellent representation of the Kanem Dynasty as true warriors. We remain fully committed to serving Borno State through football. We fought, we won for Your Eminence and the good people of Borno, and we have come to seek your royal blessings".

The Club chairman and the team captain formally presented the trophy to His Eminence, who received it with great joy and commended the team for bringing honour and pride to Borno State.

The Shehu expressed his delight at the achievement and offered prayers and royal blessings for the continued success of El-Kanemi Warriors FC.
The visit concluded with a group photograph at the palace before the delegation proceeded to the residence of the Waziri of Borno.
