Ashifat assures fans Kwara United will be ready for 2026/27 NPFL season

Head Coach of Kwara United, Ashifat Sulyman, has assured supporters, fans and other stakeholders that the club will assemble a competitive squad for the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, urging them to remain patient as preparations continue.

Coach Sulyman gave the assurance while speaking with the club's media after Kwara United thrashed Excellence Football Academy 6-0 in a test match played on Saturday.

According to him, the club is intensifying preparations and rebuilding the squad with the aim of putting together a formidable team ahead of the new campaign.

"We are intensifying our preparations. That is why we are at home now for everybody to see what we are bringing to Kwara United. We are trying to rebuild, and when you are rebuilding, you have to bring in players and test their abilities," he said.

The coach expressed confidence that the ongoing screening and evaluation of players would produce a strong team capable of meeting the expectations of the club's supporters in the coming season.
