Abraysports FC clinch inaugural globalscoutme cup 


Abraysports FC etched their name into the history books after emerging champions of the maiden edition of the GlobalScoutMe Cup 2026, following a convincing 2-0 victory over GAA-AKANBI FC in the final played at the Kwara Football Academy, Ilorin on Tuesday

The triumph capped an outstanding campaign for Abraysports FC, who dominated the competition from start to finish. The champions recorded six wins from six matches, kept six clean sheets, and scored an impressive 15 goals without conceding a single goal throughout the tournament that featured 32 teams.

Their remarkable run showcased a blend of attacking efficiency, defensive solidity, and tactical discipline, making them the standout team of the competition and setting a new standard for grassroots football excellence in Kwara State.

With the victory, Abraysports FC become the first-ever winners of the GlobalScoutMe Cup, while GAA-AKANBI FC settled for a commendable runners-up finish after reaching the final.

Some of the guests at the final match inlcudes Executive Chairman of Kwara State Sports commission, Coach Bola Mogaji, Technical Adviser of Kwara United FC; Coach Ashifat Sulaiman,Kwara SWAN Chairman; Mallam Ayodeji Ismail and a host of others.
