Tsaragi Emirate Development Association Congratulates Dr. Mohammed Abubakar on FULafia AI Centre Appointment

The Tsaragi Emirate Development Association (TSEDA) has congratulated Dr. Mohammed Abubakar Mohammed on his appointment as Director of the Centre for Artificial Intelligence at Federal University of Lafia, describing the development as a recognition of excellence, hard work, and dedication to academic research.


In a statement issued on Friday  by its Media Directorate, the association said Dr. Mohammed's appointment reflects his outstanding contributions to academia and serves as an inspiration to young people across Tsaragi Emirate. 

TSEDA noted that his emergence in the strategic role has brought pride to the community and reinforced the belief that merit and excellence are rewarded.

The association expressed confidence in his ability to excel in the position, recalling the legacy of his late father, Dr. M.N. Haruna, who was widely respected for his leadership qualities and selfless service to both the Tsaragi community and the nation. 

According to TSEDA, Dr. Mohammed is well positioned to uphold those values by providing visionary and impactful leadership at the Centre.

TSEDA also commended the management of Federal University of Lafia under the leadership of the Vice-Chancellor for recognising merit and entrusting a Tsaragi indigene with the responsibility of leading the institution's Centre for Artificial Intelligence.

The association further expressed optimism that under Dr. Mohammed's leadership, the Centre would become a leading hub for innovation, research, and youth capacity development, particularly in the rapidly growing field of artificial intelligence.

While offering prayers for his success, TSEDA urged the new director to continue making meaningful contributions to national development and the advancement of technology-driven solutions in Nigeria.
