Oko Indigenes congratulate Ibrahim Olayinka Principle on emergence as National President of University Students
Sons and daughters of Oko, in Surulere south local council development area of Oyo State and have joined numerous well-wishers across the country in congratulating Comrade Tiamiyu Olayinka Ibrahim, popularly known as Principle, on his emergence as the President of the National Association of University Students (NAUS).
The congratulatory messages have continued to pour in from sons and daughters of Oko, who described his victory as a proud moment for the community and a testament to his years of dedication, leadership, and commitment to the welfare of students.
Among those who felicitated with the newly elected NAUS President is the National Senate President of the Federation of Oko-Irese Students' Union (FOISU), Adegbenle Abduljallal Adejare.
In a statement issued on behalf of FOISU SRC members, he described Tiamiyu's emergence as well-deserved and a reflection of his leadership capacity and unwavering commitment to the advancement of students' interests.
According to the statement, the association is confident that Tiamiyu's administration will promote unity, progress, and positive transformation within the student community across Nigeria.
"We warmly congratulate Comrade Tiamiyu Ibrahim Principle on your well-deserved emergence as the President of the National Association of University Students (NAUS). Your victory is a clear reflection of your dedication, leadership capacity, and unwavering commitment to the advancement of students' interests. The FOISU Senate President further prayed for divine guidance and wisdom for the new NAUS President as he begins his tenure.
"May Almighty Allah continue to guide, strengthen, and grant you wisdom as you embark on this noble journey of service to humanity and students at large," Adegbenle added.
Also joining the list of well wishers is Yemi Sodeeq, an Oko indigene and journalist based in Ilorin, Kwara State. He described Olayinka as a thorough bred students union leader with good antecedent. He expressed his confidence in his ability to deliver on his mandate and urge all stakeholders to rally round him in his new role.
The election of Tiamiyu Ibrahim has been widely celebrated by student leaders and stakeholders, with many expressing optimism that his leadership will usher in a new era of purposeful representation and advocacy for Nigerian university students.
