Gov. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq approves establishment of Kwara United Queens

Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON has approved the establishment of Kwara United Queens Football Club, a landmark development aimed at promoting women's football and expanding sporting opportunities in the state.

Reacting to the approval, the Chairman of Kwara United Queens FC, Alhaji AbdulRazaq Owolabi Wopa, congratulated the club's management, technical crew, staff, players, and supporters on the successful approval of the team.

Alhaji Owolabi described the approval as a significant milestone for women's football in Kwara State and expressed optimism that the club would contribute immensely to talent development and sports excellence.

He also extended his heartfelt appreciation to the Executive Chairman, Mallam Bolakale Adisa Magaji, the Commission secretary Pastor Haruna Tsado, Board Members, Management and Staff of the Kwara State Sports Commission for their tremendous support, dedication, and invaluable contributions towards securing the approval.

The establishment of Kwara United Queens FC is expected to further strengthen the state's commitment to sports development and provide a platform for female footballers to showcase their talents at both national and international levels.
