Niger football stakeholders celebrates football icon, Comrade Fresh on his 56 birthday anniversary

Football stakeholders across Niger State have poured encomiums on the Chairman of the Niger State Football Association (NSFA) and Chairman of Chairmen of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Comrade Ahmed Yusuf Fresh, as he marks his 56 birthday anniversary, describing him as a pillar of football development and administration in Nigeria.
In a felicitation message, the Secretary of the Niger State Football Association, Sa’idu Jagaba, said the celebration of Comrade Ahmed Yusuf Fresh is a tribute to a man whose unwavering commitment, visionary leadership and passion for grassroots football have continued to inspire growth and unity within the football community.
Jagaba noted that under the leadership of Comrade Ahmed Fresh, football in Niger State has witnessed remarkable transformation, with improved organization of competitions, enhanced talent discovery programmes and renewed confidence among stakeholders across all levels of the game.
He described the celebrant as a distinguished sports administrator whose influence transcends the state, pointing out that his role as Chairman of Chairmen of the NFF has further amplified his contributions to shaping football policies and strengthening football governance nationwide.
The NSFA scribe also highlighted Fresh’s traditional titles of Sardaunan Kwallon Kafan Najeriya and Wakilin Wasannin Minna as well-deserved honours that reflect his immense contributions to the development and promotion of football both within and beyond Niger State.
According to Jagaba, Comrade Ahmed Yusuf Fresh has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities, fostering unity among football stakeholders, encouraging youth participation in sports, and creating opportunities for players, coaches and referees to thrive.
He added that Fresh’s dedication to grassroots football development has helped to reposition Niger State as a hub for nurturing young talents who are now making meaningful impacts in national and international competitions.
“Your passion, resilience and unwavering support for the game have continued to set you apart as a true icon of Nigerian football. Your leadership has not only elevated the status of football in Niger State but has also contributed significantly to the overall growth of the sport in the country,” Jagaba stated.
On behalf of the Niger State Football Association and the entire football family in the state, Jagaba prayed for continued good health, wisdom and greater accomplishments for the celebrant in the years ahead.
He reaffirmed the commitment of the association to continue working closely with Comrade Ahmed Yusuf Fresh to sustain the progress recorded and further advance the development of football in Niger State and Nigeria at large.
