The coordinated support from the FA Chairman and other key stakeholders has given the squad a clear sense of purpose, and it is showing on the pitch. This progress comes despite the Harmony Boys being forced to play their “home” games in Lagos due to a banishment order

Despite being far from Ilorin, Kwara United produced one of their most convincing performances of the season on Sunday, defeating Enyimba FC 2-0 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan. The result lifts them to 11th on the NPFL table with one game to go

The team’s final fixture is away to already-relegated Bayelsa United. Once that match is concluded, the long wait to return home will be over

“I charge the team never to relent in their efforts,” Turaya said, urging the players to finish the season with the same focus and intensity they showed against Enyimba

Meet Ilorin-born Soliu Ajia Yakubu,Flying Eagles Goalkeeper for AFCON  An Ilorin-born goalkeeper, Soliu Ajia Yakubu, will wear the Nigerian badge at the upcoming U20 AFCON tournament in Egypt. The former Gidado Football Academy player was part of the squad listed for the AFCON final list by Coach Aliyu Zubairu. Soliu currently ply his trade in Serbian league with FK Novia Pazar. He's one of the homegrown talents expected to shine in the AFCON.  His father hails from Itakure in Ilorin while his mother hails from Gambari also in Ilorin.
