Former Kwara United Gaffer, Abdullahi Biffo Appointed as Flying Eagles Assistant Coach

Former Kwara United Technical Adviser, Abdullahi Biffo, has been appointed as the second assistant coach of Nigeria’s U20 national team, the Flying Eagles

The appointment was confirmed by the Nigeria Football Federation Communications Department following the announcement of the new technical crew for the team.

Biffo was selected by newly-appointed Flying Eagles Head Coach, Abdu Maikaba, alongside Ortega Deniran, who will serve as first assistant coach, while Usman Mohammed takes charge as goalkeepers’ trainer.

Widely regarded as one of the most certified football coaches in the country, Biffo has handled several Nigeria Premier Football League sides, including Kwara United, Niger Tornadoes, Katsina United, Abia Warriors and Sporting Lagos.

The Nigeria Flying Eagles are set to benefit from Biffo's wealth of experience as they seek to defend their WAFU-B Championship title.

The Flying Eagles are expected to resume camp in Abuja on Sunday as preparations begin for the WAFU B U20 Championship scheduled for July, which will serve as qualifiers for next year’s Africa U20 Cup of Nations.
