Bahrain-Based Coach Oluyori Celebrates Aiyenugba, Lawani’s NNL Goalkeeping Awards
Nigerian coach, Solomon Oluyori, currently undergoing an advanced coaching course in Bahrain, has congratulated goalkeepers Daniel Aiyenugba and Clinton Lawani following their impressive individual achievements in the Nigeria National League (NNL).
Coach Oluyori, who is participating in both theoretical and practical coaching classes alongside different clubs in Bahrain, expressed pride in the duo, noting that both goalkeepers were raised and developed under his guidance in Ilorin.
Aiyenugba was recently named the Best Goalkeeper of the NNL season, while Lawani emerged as the Best Goalkeeper of the NNL Super 4 tournament after outstanding performances between the sticks.
Reacting to the feat, Oluyori described the recognition as a reward for hard work, discipline and dedication, adding that their success gives him great joy as a coach.
He stated that seeing players he nurtured rise to prominence remains one of the biggest motivations in his coaching career, while urging the goalkeepers to remain focused and continue striving for greater heights in the game.
The coach also noted that his ongoing exposure in Bahrain is helping to broaden his tactical and technical knowledge, which he hopes to use in developing more young football talents in Nigeria.
He also expressed delight as of one of her products Boniface Elizabeth who is one of the goalkeepers of the Nigeria falconets team qualified for the FIFA Women's U20 World Cup
