Yewa Football Academy seals partnership with Berlin sports-bridge for talents in germany

Yewa Football Academy has taken another major step in its growing international drive after sealing a strategic partnership with Berlin Sports – Bridge for Talents (BfT), an international football agency with operational bases in Lisbon and Berlin, aimed at creating new pathways for young Nigerian players to pursue professional careers in Germany and across Europe.

The deal was successfully brokered by Mr. Bamidele David, father of the academy’s founder Promise David, whose efforts were instrumental in facilitating discussions that led to the agreement.

The partnership adds to the academy’s expanding global network, coming on the heels of its impressive early achievements, including winning two trophies within five months and facilitating the transfer of promising talents to Europe.

Founded four years ago following the success of Berlin Sports in the legal and consulting sector, Berlin Sports – Bridge for Talents (BfT) has built a strong worldwide network of partners and scouts dedicated to identifying and nurturing elite football prospects.

The agency works with carefully selected players, providing close developmental guidance with the shared objective of helping them reach the highest levels of professional football.

Reacting to the new development, Yewa Academy founder Promise David described the partnership as another bold step toward achieving the academy’s long-term ambition of producing players capable of excelling on the global stage.

He noted that the academy remains committed to building well-rounded footballers who are technically sound, mentally strong and professionally prepared for the demands of European football.

The partnership is expected to provide structured exposure for Yewa Academy players, including scouting opportunities, career advisory support and developmental pathways into European football systems, particularly within Germany.

Club officials believe the collaboration will further enhance the academy’s reputation as a fast-rising football project dedicated to bridging the gap between Nigerian grassroots football and the international professional stage.

With recent successes on the pitch, including league triumphs and the export of players such as Godwin Oshagbemi and Mubarak Ogunleye Akore to Europe, the new alliance with Berlin Sports – Bridge for Talents signals yet another milestone in Yewa Academy’s steady rise.

Stakeholders within the club believe the partnership will open new doors for emerging talents and reinforce the academy’s vision of producing players ready to compete at the highest level in Europe.
