Former Kwara United handler, Coach Abdullahi Usman Biffo, has pledged a cash reward of ₦1 million to motivate the Harmony Boys ahead of their crucial away fixture against Niger Tornadoes.
Coach Biffo made the promise during a surprise visit to the team’s Wednesday morning training session, where he encouraged the players and officials to remain focused, disciplined, and maintain the right mentality as they fight to retain their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) status.
The experienced tactician stressed the importance of sustaining their current momentum with just three matches left in the season, reminding the players that football is a game of mistakes but urging them to stay professional by minimizing errors and adhering strictly to tactical instructions from the technical crew.
Biffo noted that this stage of the campaign is critical, adding that the team requires maximum support from all stakeholders to remain in the top flight.
To further inspire confidence within the squad, he assured the players that the ₦1 million reward would be delivered if the team wins or secures a draw in the away encounter against Niger Tornadoes. He also promised to be physically present in Minna to cheer the team on during the match.

Kwara United, currently 15th on the league table, will face Niger Tornadoes in Matchday 36 of the NPFL on Sunday at the Bako Kontagora Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 4pm.
