There was widespread jubilation across Magaji Ngeri Constituency on Friday as Hon. Abdulrasheed Olanrewaju “Rocky” officially declared his intention to contest for the Kwara State House of Assembly seat.

The declaration, which drew enthusiastic applause from residents and loyalists, is seen as a major boost to the political landscape of the constituency, with many describing Rocky’s entry into the race as a renewed hope for purposeful representation and grassroots development.

Hon. Rocky stated that his decision is driven by a strong desire to serve the people of Magaji Ngeri and to bring about meaningful development at the grassroots level. He noted that the constituency deserves purposeful leadership that is people-oriented, accessible, and committed to delivering results.

He outlined his vision, which focuses on growth, inclusion, and sustainable development, promising to prioritize initiatives that will uplift communities, empower youths and women, and improve infrastructure across Magaji Ngeri.
