APC ward chairmen in Ilorin west endorses Olanrewaju Rocky for Magaji Ngeri constituency seat


A group of ward chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State have thrown their weight behind an Magaji Ngari Cosntituency aspirant for the State House of Assembly , Hon. Abdulrasheed Olanrewaju A, popularly known as Rocky.


The endorsement, which came from key grassroots leaders across the local government, is seen as a major boost to his ambition to represent Magaji Ngeri Constituency in the Kwara State House of Assembly.

Among those who publicly declared support for the aspirant are Adebayo Tajudeen (Badari Ward), Owolaraffe (Baboko Ward), Baba Onigba (Oko Erin Ward), Muritala Oforo (Magaji Ngeri Ward), and Amuda Wara Osin (acting chairman).

Speaking on behalf of the group, the ward chairmen described Rocky as a candidate who embodies hope, vision, and purposeful leadership. They noted that his track record and accessibility to the grassroots make him a suitable choice to represent the constituency.

They further highlighted his agenda, which focuses on inclusive governance, youth empowerment, and sustainable grassroots development, adding that his emergence would mark “a new dawn” for the people of Magaji Ngeri.


According to them, the constituency stands to benefit from his commitment to integrity, service delivery, and people-oriented policies if elected.

Responding to the endorsement, Rocky expressed appreciation to the party leaders for their confidence in his candidacy, pledging not to disappoint the trust reposed in him.
