NCDC Executive Director hails APC re-elected NWC, Hon Rijau’s return as North Central VC

The Executive Director Finance of the North Central Development Commission (NCDC), Prof. Muhammad Bashar Nuhu Tachi, has congratulated members of the National Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) led by Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, on their re-election at the just concluded North Central and national conventions.

In a congratulatory message signed by himself, Prof. Nuhu Tachi, who served on the Protocol Committee of the Convention Planning Committee, described the exercise as peaceful, transparent, and a strong demonstration of unity within the party.

He particularly congratulated the North Central Vice Chairman, Hon. Mu’azu Bawa Rijau, on his re-election, noting that his return to office reflects the confidence and trust reposed in him by party stakeholders.

“The consensus driven process clearly underscores the unity and collective resolve of members of our great party to move forward together,” he said.

The NCDC Executive Director further noted that both he and Hon. Bawa Rijau are from Niger State, describing the development as a source of pride and an indication of the state’s continued relevance in national politics.

“The re-election of Hon. Mu'azu Bawa Rijau is not only well deserved but also a testament to the growing influence of Niger State within the party’s national structure,” Prof. Nuhu Tachi added.

According to him, the successful conduct of the conventions has further consolidated internal cohesion and positioned the APC for greater political stability ahead of future engagements.

He commended party leaders, delegates, and members for their discipline and commitment to ensuring a smooth and credible process, which he said has strengthened confidence among members across the country.

Prof. Nuhu Tachi also praised the leadership of the APC for fostering an atmosphere that encouraged consensus building and seamless conduct of the exercise.

He expressed optimism that the re-elected National Executive Committee would continue to provide purposeful leadership and effectively advance the party’s vision for national development.

The NCDC Executive Director reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the party and working with its leadership to promote unity, development, and sustainable progress, particularly in the North Central region.

He urged the leadership to remain focused and uphold the principles of good governance in order to justify the confidence reposed in them by party members and Nigerians at large.
