Ilorin Emirate Safety Education and Advocacy Initiative to Engage NSCDC, NURTW, RTEAN

The Ilorin Emirate Safety Education and Advocacy Initiative (ISEAi) has concluded plans to embark on strategic courtesy visits to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), and the Chairman of the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) in Kwara State.

The courtesy visit will take place on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 in Ilorin.

The visits are aimed at fostering stronger collaboration on security awareness, grassroots sensitization, and crime prevention efforts across motor parks and communities within the Ilorin Emirate and Kwara State at large.

ISEAi recognizes the critical roles played by security agencies and transport unions in maintaining public order and ensuring the safety of residents.

Through these engagements, the Initiative seeks to build sustainable partnerships that will enhance information sharing, promote vigilance, and strengthen community-based security structures.

The Chairman of ISEAi, Sulu-Gambari Suleiman Yerima, noted that the engagement forms part of the Initiative’s ongoing commitment to supporting government and community efforts toward a safer and more secure society.
