Super Falcons star Folashade Ijamilusi presents Memorabilia to Ekiti State


Nigeria's Super Falcons Star, Folashade Ijamilusi has presented her offical Memorabilia to the Government of Ekiti State.

Represented by members of her family and her management, the Memorabilia was presented to the Technical Advisor to tthe Ekiti Governor on Sports, Dr. Olusola Osetoba on Thursday at the State capital in Ado Ekiti.

The presentation symbolises Ijamilusi's commitment to her roots and home state of Ekiti.

It would be recalled that the Super Falcons Star who was part of the 10th WAFCON victory had already returned back to her Chinese Women’s Premier league side Liaoning Baiye.


Speaking through her management, the visit was aimed at identifying with Ekiti State and to also serve as a prelude of her eventual visit to the State upon her return from club activities.

In attendance at the brief event were her mother, Mrs Funmilayo Ijamilusi, Mr Oladapo Emmanuel (Director Springsoca United Academy) Dele Ijamilusi (Brother to Folashade), Chief Mrs Olaoye ( Olabim Football Academy founder and Female sports advocate, Kwara State) Mr Bello Lasora (Technical Adviser Manuelking sports & Director, Lasora Sports Consultancy)

The Ekiti state delegate had the Technical Adviser to the Governor, Dr. Osetoba Special Assistant to the Governor on Sports and youth development Mr. Tunde Adesanya and the General Manager, Ekiti United, Osegboun Anthony.

Recall that Coach Aliyu Zubairu, the Technical Adviser of Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri will lead the U20 team to the AFCON in Egypt.
