As He Praises The Performances Of City Rollers FC....
Accountant General and one of the leading Gubernatorial candidates of the ruling Party in Nasarawa State, RT. Hon. Dr. Musa Ahmed Mohamed thumbs up the organisation of the #GusauAhlanCup25.
He made this known at the Lafia City Stadium when Niger Tornadoes took on City Rollers FC of Nasarawa LGA, his home team.
"Let me first and foremost congratulate the initiators of this competition as sport lovers and the people that will always promote sporting activities in Nigeria and not just in Nasarawa State. I want to urge you to continue with the good work and the sky will be the starting point. As promoters of sports, we will continue to do the needful so we'll develop our own and expose them to the world. That is the essence of our coming into the sporting activities to assist the growing ones, so they can stand on their own".
On the performances of his side, City Rollers FC, Baraden Nasarawa said he was pleased with the result as it clearly showed that there is no huge difference between both sides despite the fact that Niger Tornadoes are the bigger brother.
"I commend them and I commend Niger Tornadoes too. As you can see, City Rollers is not just a non-entity, they are a local team from Nasarawa that is growing while Niger Tornadoes is a bigger team playing in the Premier League, but you can see their performance yourself".
"They started with a goal, it was cancelled another goal was cancelled and now 3-2 but I believe before the end of the game you will see magic from City Rollers".
On the role of the state government in promoting sports from its cradle.
"The Government of Engineer Abdullahi A Sule is a government that promotes youth in terms of empowerment, empowering the youth through provision of employments, by encouraging sporting activities and as his subjects, as his people that are aiding him to have a perfect government will continue to do the needed as I said earlier to see that Engineer Abdullahi A Sule delivers on his political and social responsibilities".
On the role of the state FA in the Football organisation in Nasarawa State.
