Top Dignitaries to Storm Aliyu Zubairu U15 Kiddies Cup Final On Sunday 
A host of top football dignitaries are set to grace the grand finale of the Coach Aliyu Zubairu U15 Kiddies Cup, slated for Sunday, July 27th, 2025, at the Kwara Football Academy (KFA) pitch inside the Major General George Innih Stadium, Ilorin, Kwara State.

Among the notable figures expected at the event are former Shooting Stars coach Gbenga Ogunbote, Crown FC head coach Deji Ayeni, Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission Coach Bola Magaji, and veteran sports journalist and publisher of SportsPro News, BayourIssah.

Also expected are Alhaji Toyin Olokooba, Chairman of Ilorin East Football Council; Alhaji Abdulrazaq Adebayo Owolabi (Wopa); and Chief Thompson Oladimeji, former Chairman of Kwara United, alongside several other respected football stakeholders and enthusiasts.

The day’s activities will commence with a one-day coaching seminar in the morning, aimed at empowering grassroots coaches who participated in the tournament. The seminar will take place at the conference room of the Kwara Football Academy.

On the field, the football excitement kicks off at 2:00 pm with the third-place match between Barca Kiddies and Gidado FA. The grand finale follows at 4:00 pm, featuring Future Stars FA and Gaa Akanbi Kids in what promises to be a captivating grassroots football showdown.


The tournament, which has showcased some of the brightest young talents in the state, is expected to climax with flair, fanfare, and the presence of Nigeria's football stakeholders.
