Offa Polytechnic Honours Kwara Sports Commission Executive Chairman After Successful NIPOGA Games



Kwara State | June 18, 2025 — The leadership of the Nigerian Polytechnic Games Association (NIPOGA) Delegation of The Federal Polytechnic, Offa, today paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Mallam Bolakale Adisa Mogaji, to formally appreciate his immense support towards the successful hosting of the 22nd NIPOGA Games.

During the visit, the delegation presented an award of appreciation to Mallam Mogaji in recognition of his contributions before, during, and after the prestigious sports event, which drew top polytechnic athletes from across Nigeria to Offa earlier this year.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the NIPOGA Local Organizing Committee (LOC) commended the Kwara State Sports Commission for providing technical guidance, logistics, and moral support that contributed greatly to the smooth organization of the Games. The LOC also noted that Mallam Mogaji’s leadership and commitment to sports development in Kwara played a key role in projecting the state as a growing hub for national sporting events.

In his response, Mallam Bolakale Adisa Mogaji expressed his gratitude for the recognition and reaffirmed the Commission’s commitment to continually support sports initiatives across all institutions in the state. He also praised the management and staff of The Federal Polytechnic, Offa, for their excellent organization and hospitality, which helped position Kwara State on the national sports map.

The 22nd edition of the NIPOGA Games saw Kwara State athletes and institutions perform creditably well, showcasing local talent and further emphasizing the growing sports culture under the current administration’s vision for youth and sports development.
