La Planet FC celebrates Jamiu Sulaiman on winning President Federation Cup with Kwara United 



The management, coaches,players and fans of La Planet FC has expressed their delight over the remarkable achievement of one of its former players and proud Ambassador, Sulaiman Jamiu on winning the President Federation Cup with Kwara United.

Sulaiman joined Kwara United from La Planet FC at the beginning of the just concluded season.

Kwara United defeated Abakaliki FC 4-3 on penalties on Saturday to clinch their first-ever major trophy after playing out a goalles draw in the regulation time.

Jaimu made his notable mark for Kwara United in the President Federation Cup campaign, especially featuring in the round of 16 games where the team defeated Gombe United to progress to the next round.

"We are very proud of Jamiu Sulaiman for this achievement. This is another important moment in the history of our club with one of our players winning the most prestigious title in Nigeria football" a statement from the club says.

The club however wishes Jamiu Sulaiman continued success as he and other members of the team prepare earnestly for their CAF Confederation Cup engagement and a new NPFL season.
