Elkanemi Warriors thank Coach Aliyu Zubairu for historic achievements with club 


The management of Elkanemi Warriors FC of Maiduguri has appreciated the departing Coach Aliyu Zubairu for his service to the club.

This was contained in a statement released and signed by the club media officer, Gaga on Wednesday.

The statement reads "On behalf of the entire good people of Borno State, especially the passionate football loving fans, we extend our heartfelt gratitude and best wishes for success in your next move.

"You have truly shown the world the remarkable coach you are. Your discipline, dedication, and determination speak volumes. The tactical brilliance you brought to the field has been the key weapon behind the legacy you have left at El-Kanemi Warriors FC.

"In your very first season, you achieved the remarkable feat of promoting El-Kanemi back to the Premier League and brought home the historic President Federation Cup a title that had eluded the club for 32 years. These accomplishments will forever be cherished and celebrated by all of us.

"With this, we say a big thank you for all the beautiful memories and the pride you have brought to Borno State.
Wishing you continued success and fulfillment in your future endeavors".

Maiduguri-born Tahur Maigana makes Flying Eagles AFCON squad One of the talents to look out for in the upcoming U20 AFCON is Tahir Maigana The young player who was born and bred in Maiduguri, Borno State, is plying his trade with Wireless Football Club based in Abuja, Nigeria.  The natural left footer is a genius and will wow the spectators during the tournament. Recall that Coach Aliyu Zubairu, the Technical Adviser of Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri will lead the U20 team to the AFCON in Egypt.
