Springsoca United Academy to host Scouting Tournament in Lagos 


Plans have been concluded by the management of the fast rising Springsoca United Academy in partnership with To Do Sports Management from Finland to host a day scouting tournament in Lagos.

The scouting programme is scheduled to take place at NIS Pitch,National Stadium,Surulere,Lagos, on Friday, May 16, 2025, beginning at 9 am.

The Four-Team invitational scouting program is aimed at identifying top youth talents for professional football opportunities in Europe.

According to Rapheal Maduka, the Team Manager of  Springsoca United Academy, the programme will attract foreign scouts who will be present at the event to select talented players for the available opportunities.

"Our main focus it to help the players reach new heights, and top foreign scouts will be available at the programme. We are very happy to organise this scouting, and we believe the result will be massive, " he said.

Maiduguri-born Tahur Maigana makes Flying Eagles AFCON squad One of the talents to look out for in the upcoming U20 AFCON is Tahir Maigana The young player who was born and bred in Maiduguri, Borno State, is plying his trade with Wireless Football Club based in Abuja, Nigeria.  The natural left footer is a genius and will wow the spectators during the tournament. Recall that Coach Aliyu Zubairu, the Technical Adviser of Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri will lead the U20 team to the AFCON in Egypt. Coach Aliyu has earlier won the heart of Nigerians after leading the team to WAFU-B championship back in October last year and he's banking on their support again to win the AFCON
