Ridwan Popoola aims to play in UEFA Champions League after securing promotion with Hungarian club


Nigerian young midfielder and player of Kisvarda FC of Hungary, Ridwan Popoola, has revealed that his target is to play in the UEFA Champions league

Popoola made the remarks following his team's promotion to the elite league in Hungary in the past week.

Kisvarda FC emerged Champions of the Hungary second division league and Popoola played a crucial role in the promotion of the team to the elite league, having joined them in March this year.

He said " I am very happy for this promotion which is my ambition as I joined the team. It means a lot to me and I believe it's not my power but God's grace.

Speaking further, he said, " My next target is to win more trophies with the tram and to play in the UEFA Europa and Champions league.

Popoola further stated that he's adapting well to life in Hungary , saying, " I am adapting well because everyone around here from the coaches, my fellow teammates and fans have been good to me".

Popoola's talent has shone brightly since joining the team and has become an integral part of the squad that secured the promotion ticket. 

He's now determined to do more for his club in the upcoming season as they compete in the Hungarian top league.
