Segun Owoade marks return to Inter Lagos with a goal, eyes NPFL promotion 


It was a glorious return for Segun Owoade as the defender scored for Inter Lagos in his side 2-0 win over Beyond Limits FC.

Segun, who had a brief stint with Sunshine Stars of Akure, rejoined the Lagos based side for the second stanza of the NNL.

The rock solid defender scored the third goal that sealed a commanding victory over the visiting Beyond Limits.

Speaking after the game, Owoade expressed his delight at scoring and added that the success of the team has always been the most important.

"I'm very happy to score for my team especially on my return to the club. Our target is NPFL promotion ticket and we are going work hard to get it.

Segun was part of the Inter Lagos team who narrowly lost the promotion ticket last season and he's determined to secure the slot this time around.
