Popoola Ridwan marks victorious debut with Kisvarda in Hungarian league 



Nigerian youngster Popoola Ridwan got off a winning start in his debut for Kisvarda FC in the Hungaian second division league.

Ridwan, who recently joined the Hungarian club, featured prominently in his side 1-0 away victory over Csakvari on Sunday, playing full time with an outstanding performance.

Speaking to merit news after the game, the energetic and versatile midfielder expressed his delight on securing winning in his first game.

"I am really excited for the win today. It's my first match for the club and this victory means alot to me because I want to see  my team winning every game and win the cup at the end of the season".

Ridwan added that his main focus is to continue to help his team win games as they set sights on promotion to Hungarian elite side.

"We have seven more games to go and we are leading the table. My focus is to help the team promote, and I will continue to work hard".

With seven more games to go, Kisvarda  remains atop of the league table with 48 points.
