Kwara Commissioner of Police endorses Seyi Tinubu Cityzens Cup 


The Commissioner of Police, Kwara State command, Adekimi Ojo, has endorsed the Seyi Tinubu Citizens Cup, assuring the public of full security support to ensure a successful event.

The CP disclosed this during a courtesy visit  by the members of the organising committee of the tournament in his office on Wednesday in Ilorin.

CP Ojo, who commended the organisers of the tournament, highlighted the importance of continued collaboration between the police and the organizers in order to ensure the much needed synergy for the success of the programme.

Members of the organising committee who visited the CP include the convener of the tournament, Aliu Olamilekan Bello(AOB);CEO of Steady Global Investment,Lawal Moyosore Tijani; Ambassador Bolaji Mogaji-Nda and Yusuf Mogaji, the President of Kwara Youth Development Forum.

Maiduguri-born Tahur Maigana makes Flying Eagles AFCON squad One of the talents to look out for in the upcoming U20 AFCON is Tahir Maigana The young player who was born and bred in Maiduguri, Borno State, is plying his trade with Wireless Football Club based in Abuja, Nigeria.  The natural left footer is a genius and will wow the spectators during the tournament. Recall that Coach Aliyu Zubairu, the Technical Adviser of Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri will lead the U20 team to the AFCON in Egypt.
