High School Volleyball Tournament Will Produce Future Stars - Adeboye 
Hardworking and heavily experienced, Senior special assistant on grassroots sports development to president Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Adeboye Anthony Adeyinka, has said with genuine confidence that Lagos High school volleyball tournament will produce future stars that will go on to represent this great country in future international tournaments.

Adeboye who was the special guest of honour at the Lagos High school volleyball tournament finals at the weekend, is optimistic that the tournament will go along way in producing great talents and with the total support and backing of the Federal government, talents discovered, will be properly nurtured and given all the necessary ingredients to get to the heightest levels in their careers. 

Adeboye, at the event, showed the young players that at his age, he is still fit as a fidle as he engaged the young players in a few minutes novelty match and the players were blown away by the strength and skills the aid to the President displayed, giving the players great confidence,  that they are with the right man, that will help blossom their careers.

"Let me first extend my sincere condolences to the organisers of this Championship, the United Christian Senior Secondary School, Apapa, and the family of Miss. Deborah Lawrence on her untimely demise. May her soul rest in perfect peace. "

"I want to emphasize the importance of volleyball and other school sports programmes because it will help in shaping future champions and fostering discipline, teamwork, and excellence, while also giving the young players hope that the future is bright for them" he said. 

"I want to sincerely thank and commend the  organizers for creating a wonderful platform for young players to showcase their God-given talents and an avenue for the government to see and nurture young talents in the country to stardom" he added. 

"We will make sure this High School Volleyball Championship continues to grow as a breeding ground for Nigeria’s future sports stars, with the active involvement and support of key stakeholders in the sports administration ensuring its sustainability and continous impact" he concluded.
