ASVO FC President, Bamidele David seals grounbreaking partnership deals with top European clubs for player transfer




In his continued efforts to further uplift the image of the club and also create more opportunities for African players, the President of ASVO FC in Benin Republic, Bamidele Solomon David has sealed partnerships with the top five European clubs on transfer of players.

The partnerships are coming on the heels of the high-level and strategic meetings between the ASVO FC President and top officials of the Croatian clubs running through Nine days of intense engagement with managements and fruitful deliberations.

The clubs, namely Zmijavci, ZGK  Dinmo, HNK Cibalia, NK Dubrava and Locomotive NK have now committed to the deal which will see players from ASVO FC and African as a whole moving to Europe to take their career to the next level.

Speaking on the development, Bamidele, who is based in Canada expressed his delight on the groundbreaking deals, which he described as part of the long term plans of ASVO FC to export African talents to the othe part of the world. 

The experienced football administrator said "Africa is a hub of football talents, and we are committed to helping players reach the peak of their career. These partnerships are really timely for us, and we are happy it has come true" 

He further revealed that the partnerships will begin to yield results in no distant future, as players will begin to  move to Europe starting from April this year.

"All the clubs are really eager to see the result of the partnerships come true. They have given us their commitment and the clubs will be receiving two or three players each from us for a start, beginning from this summer, which is April this year. This is indeed a breakthrough for us" he stated

Bamidele reiterated his commitment to the development of football in Africa and to also ensure unfettered access of players from the continent to Europe.

"We have many partners across the world and many more will still come work with us. Our aim is to expand and create more opportunities for African players" he said.

One of the major partners of ASVO FC is Greenboi Concept from Nigeria under the leadership of Mojeed Ibrahim-who has also facilitated the transfer of players from Nigeria particularly to the team in Benin Republic.

ASVO FC is one of the powerhouse of football in Benin Republic top tier league.
