Gaa Akanbi FC sends best wishes to Folashade Ijamilusi on China move



The management, players and technical crew of Gaa Akanbi FC have sent their best wishes to Nigeria's Super Falcons player, Folashade Ijamilusi on her recent moves to Chinese women league.

She joined the Shenyang City-based side from Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership champions, Edo Queens

Ijamilusi recently helped NWFL Premiership Champions, Edo Queens to West Africa Zone B (WAFU-B) Women’s Champions League title in Cote D’Ivoire in 2024.

According to the Technical Adviser of Gaa Akanbi FC, Coach Abolarinwa Bashir, the club believes in Ijamilusi's talent and capacity to succeed in her new home.

"Folashade is an exceptional talent and all of us at Gaa Akanbi FC wish her well in her new club. We are very happy for her and we will continue to cheer her on from home as she takes her talent beyond the shore of the country" he said.

Maiduguri-born Tahur Maigana makes Flying Eagles AFCON squad One of the talents to look out for in the upcoming U20 AFCON is Tahir Maigana The young player who was born and bred in Maiduguri, Borno State, is plying his trade with Wireless Football Club based in Abuja, Nigeria.  The natural left footer is a genius and will wow the spectators during the tournament. Recall that Coach Aliyu Zubairu, the Technical Adviser of Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri will lead the U20 team to the AFCON in Egypt.
