From a Ball boy to match winner, Ojifinni fulfills childhood dream with Kwara United

Abdullah Ojifinni, one of Kwara United’s January transfer window signings, won the Cyteck Man of the Match (MOTM) Award for his outstanding performance in the rescheduled NPFL Matchday 20 clash against Shooting Stars (3SC) on Wednesday.

Ojifinni, who was instrumental in Kwara United’s 2-0 victory, provided an assist and scored the second goal to secure the MOTM award just four games into the second half of the season.

Speaking to journalists, an emotional Ojifinni expressed his gratitude to the award sponsor, Engr Ahmed Olaide, and revealed that he once served as a ball boy for Kwara United before realizing his dream of playing for the club.

>“This is a dream come true. I used to be a ball boy for Kwara United, and now, playing for the team and winning the MOTM award is a huge honor. I will continue to work hard and give my best for the club.”

The Cyteck MOTM Award, sponsored by Engr Ahmed Olaide, is aimed at motivating Kwara United players to give their best in every game
