Top players to storm Lafia on Monday as Coach Dogo sets to beef up Nasarawa United Squad 


Top and highly rated players are expected to storm Lafia, capital city of Nasarawa State on Monday as Coach Kabiru Dogo begins early preparations for the NPFL second round.

Reports have it that Coach Dogo is determined to improve his team performance in the second round of the league,hence the need to recruit more legs to execute his mission.

"Some NPFL expereinced players will start trooping into Nasarawa on Monday morning ahead of the resumption of the league. Coach Kabiru Dogo is committed to ensuring that the team competes favourably in the second round, " a source said.

The source who pointed out that although the current crop of players was not recruited by coach Dogo stated that the club's management is fully in support of his move to turn things around for the club.

"The coach understands where the team is lacking after the first round performance, and I believe that's the area he will certainly be beefing up in the squad," the source claimed.


Recall that Coach Dogo made a return to  Nasarawa United at the beginning of the current campaign. The team struggled in the first round, and their run of form saw them ending the stanza at the bottom of the table with 16 points.
