Rock Solid Defender Stephen Tambari Over the Moon with Pro Route League Title



Stephen Tambari, the rock-solid defender of Kwara Football Academy, is ecstatic after helping his team win the inaugural Pro Route League title on Sunday.

Going into the final day, KFA trailed leaders Zeus FC by one point, but a 3-0 victory over Barrier FA and a late penalty that forced Zeus FC to a 1-1 draw with La Planet, handed KFA the championship.

Tambari, who played a crucial role in KFA's success, expressed his delight at winning the title. "I feel so happy winning this trophy, the journey was a bit challenging  but we managed to scale through. Winning this title is a plus to my career, as the Pro Route League provided an excellent platform for us to showcase our talents."

The Rivers State-born prodigy, currently on loan to KFA from SGFC Athletics, is confident that this achievement will propel him to greater heights.

 "I'm confident that this is just the beginning. With hard work and dedication, I envision myself playing in Europe and representing the Super Eagles." He added.
