President Tinubu's aide pledges maximum support for Evolution Cup

Senior Special Assistant on Grassroots Sports Development to the President, Adeboye Adeyinka, popularly known as Zulu, has pledged his total support to the 2025 Evolution Cup Pan African Invitational Football Tournament.

This pledge was made during a courtesy visit from The project strategist, Mr. Olawale Olatoye, who briefed Zulu on the tournament's details.

Zulu, a seasoned sports administrator, expressed his enthusiasm for the tournament, "You have my 100 percent support." He said, He also commended Olawale Olatoye for his initiative in organizing the event.

The Evolution Cup, now in its third edition, aims to promote grassroots football development and provide a platform for young African talents to shine. 

The tournament has been scheduled for February in Abuja at the upgraded Bwari Township Stadium, the tournament has already gained momentum, with SGFC Athletics and Beyond Limits winning the previous editions.

Maiduguri-born Tahur Maigana makes Flying Eagles AFCON squad One of the talents to look out for in the upcoming U20 AFCON is Tahir Maigana The young player who was born and bred in Maiduguri, Borno State, is plying his trade with Wireless Football Club based in Abuja, Nigeria.  The natural left footer is a genius and will wow the spectators during the tournament. Recall that Coach Aliyu Zubairu, the Technical Adviser of Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri will lead the U20 team to the AFCON in Egypt.
