The Executive Chairman of the Commission, Mallam Bola Magaji, shared this update during a project tour with the Kwara chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN).

Mallam Magaji commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his substantial investments in sports infrastructure, emphasizing that such developments strategically position Kwara State as a hub for sports excellence.

"This project is being executed in line with the specified standards, and any necessary adjustments have been made," Magaji noted. "Upon completion, the facility will feature modern equipment and will be among the best in the country, opening up new opportunities for athletes."

He also lauded the dedication of coaches, athletes, and stakeholders for their contributions toward advancing the sports sector, wishing them continued success and a prosperous 2025.

The Indoor Sports Hall upgrade, initiated in mid-2024, has reached 85% completion and is expected to become a benchmark facility for training and competitions in the region.
