Nigeria's Sports Industry Heavyweights Honored with Abdul Momoh Photography Ambassadorial Awards

Nottingham Forest forward Taiwo Awoniyi, Kano Pillars star, Ahmed Musa, National Sports Commission Chairman, Mallam Shehu Dikko, President of NFF, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, SWAN President,  Benjamin Isaiah, Executive Chairman of Kwara Sports Commission, Mallam Bola Magaji, Offa-born philanthropist MOK, and veteran broadcaster Hammed Adio were recognized with the prestigious Abdul Momoh Photography Ambassadorial Awards on Wednesday in Ilorin.


The award ceremony, held at the Henry George Hotels, was organized by Abdul Momoh to honor individuals who have shown unwavering support for his initiatives and the growth of photography throughout the year.

Speaking at the event, Momoh highlighted the success of his photography masterclass seminar, Stepping Up Photography, now established as an annual event. He expressed gratitude to the recipients for their vital contributions and support.


Hameed Adio, while receiving his award, dedicated it to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, commending the governor's transformative investments in sports development. 


Adio also praised Abdul Momoh for using the awards to recognize and celebrate excellence, stating that such gestures inspire others to contribute to sports and societal growth.


Other awardees were Kabiru Abubakar Zamora, Kwara FA Chairman, Mallam Idris Musa, Nigeria Pillar of Sports, Chief Donatus Agu Ejididke , CPS Rafiu Ajakaye and Kayode Bankole Chairman, Kwara Volleyball Association. 

Chief Alloy Chukwuemeka, Alhaji Olatunji Mohammed El-lado , Alhaji Azeez Omoluabi, Bakare Rabark, Mr Ademola Olajire, Harry Iwuala, Alhaji Haruma Magidansanma and Barrister Dangana were all recognized 

The event was a vibrant celebration of excellence, with Abdul Momoh emphasizing the importance of recognizing stakeholders' efforts to advance photography, sports, and community development.
