Kwara Kiddies League Holds Awards Ceremony To  End Third Season Activities




All plans have been concluded for the hosting of the 2024 end of the season awards and the grand finale of the Kwara Kiddies YEG league on Sunday, December 15, 2024.

The historic event will climax a seven-long month of league activities and thrilling matches amongst all the 14 participating teams.

Featuring last fixtures of week 26, the event will witness presentation of the trophy to the league winner, awards to outstanding performers, and a lot of memorable moments

Icing on the cake would also be the distribution of free meals to all the players participating in the league courtesy of the Taiwo Awoniyi Foundation.

The award ceremony, which forms part of the last league games routine, is scheduled to begin at 3 pm. at the Kwara Football Academy main pitch.

The event is expected to draw top dignitaries, sports stakeholders, fans, and supporters alike to celebrate the completion of the league's third season.

The Executive Chairman of Kwara State Sports Commission,Coach Bola Mogaji, will lead other top dignitaries expected to grace the event.

Maiduguri-born Tahur Maigana makes Flying Eagles AFCON squad One of the talents to look out for in the upcoming U20 AFCON is Tahir Maigana The young player who was born and bred in Maiduguri, Borno State, is plying his trade with Wireless Football Club based in Abuja, Nigeria.  The natural left footer is a genius and will wow the spectators during the tournament. Recall that Coach Aliyu Zubairu, the Technical Adviser of Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri will lead the U20 team to the AFCON in Egypt.
