Flying Eagles Coach Aliyu Zubair sponsors U13 Kiddies Cup to discover new football talents 





No fewer than 20 teams will be participating in the football competition sponsored by the Head coach of Nigeria's Flying Eagles and Technical Adviser of Elkanemi Warriors of Maidiguri, Coach Aliyu Zubairu. 

Recall Aliyu Zubairu had an incredible stint with Elkanemi Warriors of Maidiguri guiding them back to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), and won the President Federation Cup at the expense of Abia Warriors FC in June. 

Coach Aliyu Zubairu, also won the WAFU B U20 Championship in November in Togo barely few weeks after his appointment as the Head coach of U20 Flying Eagles. 

The competition is expected to draw kiddies team across Kwara State together for thrilling contests. 

The tournament, which will also serve as a platform for talent discovery, is scheduled to be held from the 2nd-12th of January, 2025.

Maiduguri-born Tahur Maigana makes Flying Eagles AFCON squad One of the talents to look out for in the upcoming U20 AFCON is Tahir Maigana The young player who was born and bred in Maiduguri, Borno State, is plying his trade with Wireless Football Club based in Abuja, Nigeria.  The natural left footer is a genius and will wow the spectators during the tournament. Recall that Coach Aliyu Zubairu, the Technical Adviser of Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri will lead the U20 team to the AFCON in Egypt. Coach Aliyu has earlier won the heart of Nigerians after leading the team to WAFU-B championship back in October last year and he's banking on their support again to win the AFCON
