Abiola Sabitu eyes NPFL promotion ticket with Osun United After winning Best Goalkeeper Award 




Following his emergence as the winner of the best Goalkeeper award in this year's edition of Osun FA Award, the Goalkeeper of Osun United, Abiola Sabitu has expressed his desire to secure the NPFL promotion ticket with the Imole Gladiators.

Winning the Olatunji Baruwa Best Goalkeeper Award is a recognition of Sabitu's exceptional talent and contributions to his team.

Last season, Sabitu had impressive season with Osun United, holding the sway within the sticks for the Coach Seye Ajayi-led side.

Again, He has began his excellent display in the new NNL season following his clean sheet performance in the season opener when Osun United picked a point on the road against First Bank FC of Lagos last weekend.

Abiola said "My ultimate target is to secure the NPFL promotion with Osun United. We narrowly missed the playoff last season but this time around, we have learnt our lessons and we are going to improve our performance.

Osun United will be looking forward to theit first victory of the season when they host Gateway United in their week two games at LanreLeke Sports Complex in Ileogbo this weekend
