NA Royal withdraws from Hon. Abdulwaheed Gbenga Competition, says we are committed to peace 





NA Royal FC have announced their withdrawal from the ongoing Honorable Abdulwaheed Gbenga Competition in Offa.

This was contained in a letter sent to the organisers of the competition on Wednesday, even as the club also stated that it's committed to engendering peace and development within communities.

The team noted that the tournament,although have provided an opportunity for its players to further hone their skills, but it can't allow the failure of the organisers in keeping to football standards and rules to generate an unnecessary controversy between neighboring communities.

Based Ilemona,Oyin local government area of Kwara State, NA Royal is a Nationwide League One based (NLO) side with exceptional talents in its team.


The letter reads,

"We regret to inform you of our decision to withdraw from the ongoing Hon. Abdulwaheed Gbenga competition, effective immediately. This decision was made due to pressing security concerns and professional considerations that necessitate our withdrawal.

"We appreciate the opportunities provided by the competition, but our priority lies in ensuring the safety and well-being of our team members. We cannot continue participation under the current circumstances.

"Please accept this letter as formal notice of our withdrawal. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to potential future collaborations",it concluded

NA Royal are also currently participating in the ongoing Emir of Ilorin Cup and the team has qualified for the round of 16. They have been tipped by fans as one of the teams to watch out for in the prestigious Emir of Ilorin tournament.

The team is committed to providing a platform for youth engagement and empowerment. The team is also poised to promote and help young football talents get to stardom through its platform.
