Massive Turn-out as SGFC Athletics Screening Exercise Begins in Sagamu 


Nationwide League One  (NLO) side, SGFC Athletics FC, has on Thursday, October 31st, begun its rebuilding process with a screening exercise, at the Gateway International Stadium in Sagamu.


The two-day talent hunt, scheduled to end on November 2nd, aims to uncover talented footballers for the club's Player Development Programme (PDP).


This initiative is part of SGFC Athletics's strategic plan to revamp its squad and regain competitiveness in the Nigerian football landscape.


According to management, the screening exercise witnessed a massive turnout of aspiring footballers from across the country, all vying for a spot in the club's esteemed PDP.

The club's management emphasized its commitment to nurturing young talent and providing a platform for emerging stars to shine.

"This screening exercise marks the beginning of our rebuilding process," said Olawale Olatoye, the club's General Manager.

"We're dedicated to discovering and developing talented players who will drive our success in the years to come."
