Correctional service will lead others in sports development ACC  Ogunbiyi

Development of sports in Nigeria by para-military  service must be prioritise to enhance service delivery. 

ACC AO Ogunbiyi who is the head of sports unit of Kwara State Command of the correctional service stated this at the presentation ceremony and award at the fifth edition of para-military games hosted by the command. 

She appreciated the comptroller general of correctional service, CGC Haliru Nabab for providing the enabling environment for sports men and women to expressed their talents apart from thier core duties. 

In a similar development, she expressed her gratitude to Kwara command, CC Shuaib Ayodeji Danmairomu for his support and encouragement to the sports unit adding that sports men and women in all the para-military units in Kwara state now come together on yearly basis to compete in Football, Table tennis, Ayo and Draft. 

At the fifth edition of Correctional games, 
Correctional Service placed first position with two gold, one silver and one bronze, Police in 2nd position with two gold, and two bronze, NSCDC in 3rd position with one gold, four silver and one bronze, NDLEA with one silver, Fire Service with two bronze, while Custom Service in last position did not record any medal. 

Officer Salman a volleyball player who retired was given meritorious award, other dignitaries at the colourful ceremony are: Dr. J.K Ojo,  Mr Oguntunde Moses, Mr Omole Martins, Mr Emmanuel Olubiyo, Baba Solomon Awoniyi, Bayour Issah, Dr Asagunla, Mr Peter Eletta, Officer Napoleon Okoriogbo, Gofe Abubakar, Oloyede Dupe, Tijani Salihu,  Sunday Jolayemi, PRO Museco, Mr Aiyelabegan our Table Tennis Coach, Bell Fatima, (Female State Table Tennis Coach), Staff Officer, The C.D.O, Officer Ibrahim Abubakar, Seun Sanusi, SC Haruna Umar Idris.
