Chief Imam of Ilorin endorses  fitness festival 


The Chief Imam of Ilorin, Alhaji Dr.Muhammad Bashir(OON) has endorsed the Ilorin Fitness Festival 4.0.

The foremost Islamic scholar and leader also prayed for the success of the event.

Ilorin Fitness Festival is scheduled to hold on Saturday, November 16,2024 at the main bowl of the Kwara State Stadium Complex.It's billed to kick off from 7am and run through to 12pm.

Tagged Fitness meets fun, the Ilorin Fitness Festival is aimed at enhancing the healthy lifestyle of the people.

The annual event is put together by the CEO of Exercise is Medicine,Akorede Kehinde Monsuru, a certified IOC/NOC fitness instructor.

Maiduguri-born Tahur Maigana makes Flying Eagles AFCON squad One of the talents to look out for in the upcoming U20 AFCON is Tahir Maigana The young player who was born and bred in Maiduguri, Borno State, is plying his trade with Wireless Football Club based in Abuja, Nigeria.  The natural left footer is a genius and will wow the spectators during the tournament. Recall that Coach Aliyu Zubairu, the Technical Adviser of Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri will lead the U20 team to the AFCON in Egypt. Coach Aliyu has earlier won the heart of Nigerians after leading the team to WAFU-B championship back in October last year and he's banking on their support again to win the AFCON
