Veteran Sports Journalist, Jimoh Bashir appointed as NALCOMA's Director of Communications
The Coordinator of Abubakar Bukola Saraki Football Club of Ilorin, Jimoh Bashir has been appointed as the Director of Communications by the Nigeria National League Club Owners and Managers Association (NALCOMA).
The new Executive members of the Association were elected and sworn-in at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Nigeria National League (NNL) held in Bauchi state last month, with Godwin Enakhena emerging as the President.
Under the new leadership, the body plans to break new grounds, as a way of complementing the efforts of the NNL Board, as well as that of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), in making the 'Most Important League' worthwhile.
Part of the efforts was to strengthen the media department, which ocassioned the endorsement of Jimoh Bashir as the Director of Communications.
In a statement by NALCOMA, and signed by the Vice President, Alhaji Fatai Olayinka, the appointment of Bashir comes with many considerations, especially, experience and capability.
"With this arrangement, NALCOMA will be heard and seen more than ever before", Alhaji Olayinka said.
Jimoh Bashir is a former Chairman of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Kwara chapter, and immediate past Media Officer of Kwara United Football Club.
